Posted March 31st, 2013 Praise God, Jesus rose just like he said He did! He often predicted that he would rise again, but the disciples didn't understand it, and obviously didn't expect it. Can you just stop a moment and imagine what the disciples must have thought, and felt, once they saw Our Risen Savior, in bodily form, after seeing Him up on the cross beaten practically to a bloody pulp, just a few days before? I'm sure they tried to come up with a possible explanation but couldn't. What a Glorious day that must have been for the disciples! This was their FIRST Resurrection Day Celebration. No wonder Christians, all over the world, are celebrating with such enthusiasm. Many skeptics have said that this event never took place and that "Christians" use it as a crutch! How wrong they are! The reason why skeptics feel this is because they have never had a personal encounter with Jesus as Saul had on the road to Damascus. Thank you Father for meeting me on my Damascus road! Thank you Father for your LOVE! P.S. Jesus is not a crutch to me, He literally carries me. He just doesn't let me hop around when things are heavy in my life! =============== SGW CELEBRATES THE HOLIEST DAYS OF THE YEAR! Posted March 29th, 2013 Today is Good Friday, one of the holiest days of the year! This is the day we celebrate the death of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Why? Because this is the day He paid the price for our mistakes and reconciled us to God! Every time I think of the pain my Lord went through for me, it brings tears to my eyes. I do not, we do not, deserve this show of mercy. It was solely done because of his love for us! Thank you Father for thinking of me and loving me so much! Sunday, March 31st, 2013, also represents the day our Lord rose from grave, in bodily form, dwelt among us for a time, in His perfect state, then ascended to heaven to be seated at the right hand of God! Hallelujah! We wait patiently for Your return Jesus! - Have a Blessed Day =============== AND “HIS” BEAT GOES ON Posted February 12th, 2013 This month has started with such a momentum. To begin with, “The Jesus Film Project,” a ministry of Campus Crusades for Christ, had informed us that they are making other films available which we can use on our website, Spread God's Word.org. "Magdalena" shows the story of Jesus as told by Mary Magdalene and highlights how Jesus loves and cares for women. You will also find "Walking With Jesus (Africa)" and "Following JESUS (India)," their two geographically focused follow-up series. There are also a variety of short films, which we will make available for our visitors, to help to begin, and continue, spiritual conversations with those who may not engage initially with the classic film "JESUS." As they state on their website: “Every eight seconds, somewhere in the world, another person indicates a decision to follow Christ after watching the Jesus film.” We are so excited about this and I am working feverishly to embed all the codes on our website and hope to have them available as soon as possible! We are also very excited that Harvest Fields Community Church, one of our church partners, have allowed us to add to our line-up of FREE Videos, the “Harvest Forum” which starts at 4:00 pm every Sunday at their church. It is facilitated by Pastor Justo Rodriguez. This is Harvest Fields answer to adding a third Sunday service to the schedule. The difference with this service is that it is not your “traditional Sunday service.” It is "a unique, unorthodox way of bringing forth the word pertaining to contemporary & controversial issues!" Harvest Fields has always been innovative in their approach of spreading the Word of God and this “Harvest Forum” proves it. Their mission statement reads: “Revealing God, Reaching People, Restoring Lives” and they are keeping to their mission! We have also been designing the pages concerning Marriage Enrichment and the Family, which we plan to launch in the next couple of months. We check our "STATS," on a weekly bases, in order to see what countries have visited us and what pages are the most popular. Our stats indicate that the following countries have been playing our games on a consistent bases: United Kingdom, Philippines, Australia, Canada, Ghana, India, to name a few. We also noticed that people from Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Kenya have been visiting our "New Believers" page to get a better insight as to the "first steps of a growing Christian." PRAISE GOD! Another popular web search from Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Kuwait, Hong Kong, which lead many to our website, was "How can I spread God's Word?" The reason for the make-over was so that we can re-organize our list of countries that have visited our website, which totals 73 as of September 12th, 2012, as well, create an area we can quickly inform you of any new "WEBSITE Highlights" at-a-glance. Due to it's popularity, many have also been requesting that we video record the sermon portion of the service, so as of last week, August 19th, we have decided to included the video sermon as well. The reason for our decision is due to the fact that some individuals are unable to attend the service, for one reason or another, and now will be able to at least enjoy the morning service in the privacy of their home or work. Another reason is that it is our desire to reach as many people from all parts of the world so that they too can be blessed. Our first mission is Faith Comes by Hearing Ministries who are responsible for "Bible.is™" and for the "Proclaimer™." Our second mission is "The JESUS Film Project" which is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International. Our third mission is "Feeding Nicaragua." This mission is very unique because it was founded, and it is directed, by a husband and wife team who personally raise the funds, purchase the food, clothing, etc. then take it to Nicaragua themselves. I was so touched, and in such awe, as to where God is taking this website. Pastor Steve Brothers states: "I am very much pleased to tell you that your teachings on your website are a great blessing to me, my family and the young independent christian fellowship that I founded when I got the call of the Lord to do so. So, I, my wife, children and some few brethren from the community, are serving the lord under this Christian fellowship. The fellowship is of 32 members. I also take care of ten orphans whose parents died. In this I am requesting you to send us more teachings that will enable us, as a small church, to grow spiritually."
